Recognition of IPCS–Royal Holloway Partnership

In November of last year, the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies and Royal Holloway, University of London, in the UK, concluded a five-year partnership agreement.

One of the central objectives of the agreement was to establish international learning collaboration between the students of the Institute and Royal Holloway, who are from different cultural and educational backgrounds.

Over 15 students from the two institutions engaged in research and writing about issues concerning legal concepts of human rights in Somaliland and the Horn of Africa, peacebuilding, and other related topics of their choice.

Recognizing the efforts of these two institutions, colleagues in both the Departments of Law and Criminology and Politics & International Relations and the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies received Commendations in the College’s Team Teaching Prize 2021 in recognition of their outstanding work.
