Since its establishment as an Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies in 2008, housed in the University of Hargeisa. The IPCS has had a strong and a striving relationship with this Center while some faculty members of the Institute attended Summer Peacebuilding programs in the United States of America from 2008 through 2010.
The Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) educates a global community of peacebuilders through the integration of practice, theory and research. The combined vision of the Center is to prepare, transform, and sustain leaders to create a just and peaceful world. CJP is a higher learning center specializing in the areas of conflict transformation, restorative justice, trauma healing, equitable development and addressing organizational conflict. This Center is based at the Eastern Mennonite University in the United States of America.
